What is a Favicon?
The word favicon is made up of favorites and icon. The favicon is displayed before the URL (website address) in the browser's address bar. If a website doesn't have a custom favicon, the browser displays a default icon instead. The favicon should visually refer to the website layout or company logo, as it is as well displayed in the bookmarks / favorites list where it helps to find your website quickly. All websites we build come with a free favicon.
